Today’s Pay It Forward Giveaway benefits Jubilee Partners, an organization we have contributed to several times over the years. In the 1970's a group of people split off from Habitat For Humanity to continue humanitarian work and based themselves in Comer, Georgia, about twenty minutes down the road from us. Jubilee Partners is a Christian organization that hosts refugees and asylum seekers who have left their homes in war-torn countries. At Jubilee, these families find a safe place to recover and can live at Jubilee for anywhere between two and twelve months. The service workers who live there help these people connect with social services, legal resources, and medical care and also provides ESL instruction.
